Has Samsung released the most pointless product on Earth, or is this something every home will have in the coming years?

At World Tech Expo 2020, it seemed like Samsung was about to release something big, but to everyone's dismay, a smart door was what was introduced. The screen, which will be built into the door will be in 8k resolution, have high quality touch screen abilities, and even have voice activating capabilities. The only problem though, that everyone seems to be losing is over, is the fact that the door will only come in one color, white. This news has already started several designs by phone case companies, to figure out a way to make a skin case for your smart door. TTN thinks painting the door would make sense.

One other thing that has confused people, is the door is only meant for the interiors of your house, and the screen will only be on one side of the door. Among these weird designs of the smart door, the doorknob, although seen in alll the pictures shown at the expo, is merely decorative and serves no functional purpose. Many loyal supporters of Samsung are starting to wonder if this is a revolutionary piece of technology, or just a horizontal TV screen on a door. Who knows? TTN sure does not.
